What happens after I sign up?
Once you’ve signed up online or through our sales team, we’ll send you a welcome package. We will let you know the next date we’re in your area and we’ll handle the cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing.
Do you clean condo recycling bins?
Absolutely. We can clean, disinfect, and deodorize shared condo or apartment recycling bins. Contact us to set up a schedule that works for your building.

We take care of this unpleasant chore so you don’t have to! Here’s why our service is better:
- Efficiency: We use less water and ensure no contaminated water enters storm drains or natural waterways.
- Effectiveness: Our biodegradable products and hot water cleaning system eliminate bacteria and odors far more thoroughly than DIY methods.

How often should I clean my bins?
For best results, we recommend every two weeks to control odors and bacteria.

What are your terms of service?
Service Overview
Bin Clean provides curbside garbage, recycling, and organic bin cleaning services on a scheduled basis following waste collection. Services include high-pressure, eco-friendly cleaning and deodorizing of residential bins.
Service Requirements
- Bins should be placed at the curb for collection by the city and left at the curb for Bin Clean to clean the bins between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
- Notify us of any waste collection changes or missed collections
Missed Bins
- If bins are not at the curb between 1:00pm – 9:00pm, we will do our best to reschedule the cleaning when possible.
- If your neighbours typically bring in the bins, a quick reminder to leave yours out until the evening can help
- If we are unable to service your bin due to crew error or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, equipment failure), we will reschedule your cleaning asap and at no extra cost.
Scheduling and Cancellations
- Customers are notified via email reminder 2 weeks before and the day before service.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Subscription customers can pause or cancel their service with 7 days’ notice before their next scheduled clean.
What is your refund Policy?
One-Time Cleanings:
- Refunds are only issued if we are unable to provide the service and you do not wish to reschedule.
- If the bins are uncleanable due to customer error (not empty, inaccessible, etc.), no refund will be given.
Subscription Services:
- You may cancel your subscription anytime with 30 days’ notice.
- A full refund will be issued if no cleanings have taken place.
- If the season has started a partial refund will be issued.
- Each completed cleaning, defaults back to a One Time Cleaning at a rate of $30 for the first bin and $15 for each additional bin
If service is missed due to Bin Clean error, a make-up cleaning will be scheduled.

How much does it cost?
Pricing varies depending on how often you choose to clean your bins. Frequent cleanings come at a lower per-clean rate.

Do I need to be home for bin cleaning?
Nope! Just leave your bins out until 8:00 pm on your regular garbage collection day, and we’ll take care of the rest.
What if I forget to leave my bins out?
No problem! Just give us a call, and we’ll do our best to clean them as soon as possible. Just ensure the bins are empty when we arrive.
What if I have a concern about your service?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. Contact us, and we’ll work to resolve any issues quickly.
Do you offer special pricing for Condos, Property Managers or Realtors?
Yes, we offer tailored contract plans for Condo’s, property managers, and realtors. Maintaining clean waste bins enhances your property’s curb appeal and contributes to a healthier environment. Our fully automated, environmentally friendly cleaning system sanitizes each bin on-site, ensuring no inconvenience to residents. We schedule our services to coincide with regular waste collection days, cleaning bins after they’ve been emptied. This approach leaves your property with spotless bins and no residual mess.
